Super clone manufacturers source the identical raw materials — not cheaper substitutes. The steel, crystal, and ceramic are the same grade. The difference is the brand stamp on the caseback.
904L Oystersteel
Marine-grade stainless steel — the same alloy Rolex uses for its production watches. More corrosion-resistant than 316L and holds a superior polish. Every case and bracelet is finished by hand: alternating brushed and mirror surfaces.
Sapphire Crystal
Anti-reflective coated sapphire glass with the correct curvature and thickness. Cyclops lens on date models magnifies at 2.5x. Virtually scratch-proof — the same hardness rating (9 on the Mohs scale) as the original.
Ceramic Bezel
Cerachrome ceramic inserts on Submariner and GMT models — fade-resistant, scratch-proof, and matched in colour to the original batch. The luminous pip on the 12 o'clock position is correctly sized and positioned.
BRUSHED AND POLISHED BY HAND.
Every case and bracelet link is finished by the same method as the authentic — alternating brushed and mirror-polished surfaces, chamfered with precision.
